British boxer Anthony Joshua Discharged from Medical Facility in Lagos Following Fatal Car Crash

Former heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua has been released from care, local government spokespeople stated on late Wednesday. The athlete was involved in a car accident near Lagos on Monday, a horrific crash that resulted in the deaths of two of his valued colleagues.

Under Observation for Minor Injuries

The sports star had been under observation while recovering from minor injuries, representatives had said on Monday. The commissioner for information and strategy, Gbenga Omotoso, announced via a post on social media that Joshua was deemed clinically fit to “recuperate at home”.

“Joshua and his mother were at the funeral home in Lagos this afternoon to say their last goodbyes to his two deceased friends as they were being made ready for the journey back,” the commissioner stated.

Honoring the Deceased

Those who lost their lives were confirmed to be Latif Ayodele, a fitness coach, and Sina Ghami, a performance coach. It was also noted that the athlete was heartbroken and deeply emotional over the loss of his two dear friends.”

This update on his health arrives after the global fight fans had expressed sympathy for the fighter in the wake of the heartbreaking incident.
