News has broken that original stars Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson are returning to their iconic characters in the latest chapter of the Hunger Games film series, titled The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping. The film is currently in production.
An Important Return to Panem
Lawrence and Hutcherson are slated to play Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark, respectively. It is believed their appearance will probably be featured in a brief glimpse ahead, considering the original saga concluded with their characters married and with children.
This marks the sixth installment in the blockbuster Hunger Games franchise.
