Loyal supporters of the pop star are demanding that a man who jumped a fence and seized the performer during Thursday's Wicked: For Good debut be taken into custody or expelled from Singapore.

A circulating clip depicts the individual from Australia shoving aside camera operators and lunging at Grande while the actors proceeded down a promenade accompanied by onlookers.

Cast member Cynthia Erivo quickly guided the surprised actress away from Mr Wen, who was spotted being led away of the event by event staff.

Mr Wen shared on Instagram recently that he was "free after being detained", though official papers indicated that he was scheduled to be present on Friday morning. It is uncertain if he was faced legal action.

History of Disruptions

This is not the first time for Mr Wen, who labels himself a "Troll Most Hated", has crashed a concert or event. His Instagram feed includes recordings of him disrupting other high-profile occasions, including breaching the performance area at the artist's Sydney performance in June this year and in a like fashion during The Chainsmokers performance in the city last December.

"Steps should be implemented enforced against him as this is obviously a legal violation," stated an Instagram commenter, in a message to a video Mr Wen shared of his act.

"Oh wow so you do this a lot... how aren't you in jail?" another Instagram user wrote.

Followers Show Disapproval Over Ariana's Safety

Many followers criticized Mr Wen for "re-traumatising" Grande, who had spoken of experiencing trauma-related anxiety after a devastating incident at the conclusion of her spring 2017 concert in Manchester, claiming the lives of 22 people and harming many.

"After everything she's faced... including the Manchester attack, you considered it entertaining to rush the barrier?" said one more comment on Instagram.

Several fans also questioned guards at the gathering for not being adequately prepared; while different individuals requested digital services to ban Mr Wen's uploads.

Response and Event Details

In videos circulating online, Grande seemed surprised when she was grabbed by the intruder. Her co-stars Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be spotted reassuring her while Mr Wen was escorted away by staff.

Grande has not issued a statement on the event, and the premiere activities carried on uninterrupted.

Numerous of supporters had gathered in a crowd of colorful attire at the Wicked: For Good international premiere in a Singapore mall, including a number who had queued for as long as many hours before it started.

The movie, to be launched on November 21, is the second of a two-film adaptation of the popular Broadway and West End production Wicked, which revolves around the unexpected relationship between two very different witches.

The production itself is a spin-off of the 1900 book The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who portrays the good witch Glinda, was dressed in a rosé sequin dress at the premiere while Erivo, who portrays the wicked witch, wore a black tube gown featuring roses.

They were accompanied by co-star Jeff Goldblum.

The first movie, Wicked, was the highest-grossing movie of the previous year in the UK, and received ten Academy Award nods, winning several for outstanding attire and set decoration.
